We are pleased to share an important update in the leadership of EELA:​

Dušan Nitschneider has been elected as the new Chair of EELA.

Valeria Morosini will be joining him as the new Vice-Chair.

Dušan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our Association. Having served as Vice-Chair for the past two years and as a long-standing member of EELA, Dušan has consistently demonstrated his dedication to our mission and values. His leadership was also evident when he hosted the Annual EELA Conference in 2018 in Bratislava. We are confident that under Dušan’s guidance, EELA will continue to thrive and grow.

Supporting Dušan in his new role, Valeria has been elected Vice-Chair. A member of EELA since 2001 and Italy’s representative on the Board in recent years, Valeria has shown unwavering commitment to the Association and will play a key role moving forward.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Anna Jerndorf for her outstanding leadership as Chair over the past two years. Anna will continue to support the Board as the Swedish representative until the next elections, and we are grateful for her ongoing contributions.

Please join us in congratulating Dušan and Valeria. We look forward to the continued success of EELA under their leadership.

This year marks the first time the seminar was paired with a workshop with the EU Commission that took place the day prior.  During the workshop, participants engaged in discussions about the implementation of EU employment law, with a particular focus on the challenges and best practices related to its enforcement across member states.

On Friday, the participants had the opportunity to discuss the current topics of European labour law as well as get an update on the most recent CJEU cases. The latest trends, recent case law and main challenges ahead were presented and debated by high-level speakers.
