On November 22, 2024, we hosted the Annual EELA-ERA Labour Law seminar in Brussels.
This year marks the first time the seminar was paired with a workshop with the EU Commission that took place the day prior. During the workshop, participants engaged in discussions about the implementation of EU employment law, with a particular focus on the challenges and best practices related to its enforcement across member states.
On Friday, the participants had the opportunity to discuss the current topics of European labour law as well as get an update on the most recent CJEU cases. The latest trends, recent case law and main challenges ahead were presented and debated by high-level speakers.

- The platform work Directive
- Recent CJEU case law on labour law matters
- Data protection issues in Whistleblowing
- Religious freedom at the workplace
