Miguel Castro

Miguel Castro is Senior Director and Global Lead for Diversity and Inclusion at SAP. He has more than 20 years of experience in diversity & inclusion, consulting, international operations and business development. He joined the SAP Global Diversity & Inclusion Office in 2016 working out of Madrid, in Spain. Previously he had lived and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark and Berlin, Germany, among other locations.

His main business goals include leveraging SAP technology for inclusion, partnering with Regional and Business Area leaders in SAP for the global roll-out of our D&I programs and engaging with external stakeholders in the private and public sector.

Besides his role in SAP, Miguel is member of the Innovation Advisory Council of STANPA, the Spanish Cosmetics, Toiletry and Perfumery Association, a guest professor for Diversity and Inclusion for the Inditex sponsored program for Sustainability and Social Innovation at the University of A Coruña and guest speaker in Mutabilia, online program on cultural transformation leadership.

Previously he was the chairman of the board of REDI, the Spanish Business Association for LGBTI Inclusion, and has also had different roles in advisory boards and special committees of organizations like PROUTATWORK in Germany, Workplace Pride in the Netherlands and OUTstanding in the UK.
