Dear EELA Members, dear Friends,
We wanted to share with you the following EELA update:
Klaus-Stefan Hohenstatt has been the EELA Chair for the last four years and has guided EELA through the very challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year his term as the Chair as well as the Board Member for Germany expired and Klaus-Stefan decided not to run for re-election. We thank Klaus-Stefan for his dedication and his impressive leadership over the last years.
The Board has elected us, Anna Jerndorf and Dušan Nitschneider, as Chair and Vice-Chair for the coming two years (until September 2025). We are very excited about the tasks ahead of us and we will do our best to duly represent all Members from all regions and all generations. EELA is a wonderful organization, the “family” of European Employment Lawyers practicing European and cross-border employment law.
We will work hard to ensure that our annual conferences continue to be the most relevant platform for this audience. We will also continue to create opportunities for our Members to keep in touch with EELA and with the most recent legal developments throughout the year. We look forward to working together with all of you and to meeting you in person at one of our next events: on 24 November 2023 in Brussels (ERA-EELA Seminar) and on 6-8 June 2024 in Reyjkavík (EELA Conference).
